Effective: April 15, 2026

Change level: Material. New acceptance can be required for affected flows.

Service model

Nyalma helps customers learn about Cerberus, request commercial plans, download release materials, and obtain signed license artifacts. Cerberus remains customer-operated and self-hosted, and already issued license materials are verified locally by the deployed product.

Account and portal access

Customers remain responsible for portal credentials, invited memberships, and MFA enrollment.

  • use the portal only through authorized customer accounts
  • do not share access outside the customer organization
  • report suspected account misuse promptly

Self-hosted deployment responsibility

The customer controls its own infrastructure, rollout decisions, and third-party integrations.

  • the customer is responsible for configuration, approvals, and change windows
  • production actions should be validated in a non-production or otherwise controlled environment first
  • the customer is responsible for backups, snapshots, rollback plans, and recovery procedures

Orders, plans, and entitlements

Community, Professional, Enterprise, and support add-ons can have different fulfillment paths, but the commercial portal remains the system of record for requests, entitlements, and issued customer materials.

  • Enterprise may remain quote-based
  • paid status does not bypass admin-controlled fulfillment
  • issued licenses and release access follow the active entitlement state

No warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site, portal, software, support content, and issued materials are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

  • no promise that operation will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for every environment
  • no promise that customer use will avoid outages, misconfigurations, or third-party side effects
  • guidance, release notes, and support responses do not replace customer review and approval controls

High-risk and third-party systems

Customers must not treat Cerberus as an unmanaged autopilot for sensitive production estates.

  • customers remain responsible for firewalls, network policy, identity systems, and other third-party platforms
  • any destructive or high-impact operation must be reviewed and authorized by the customer
  • the product is not offered as a fail-safe control system for safety-critical or mission-critical use cases

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nyalma is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the site, portal, software, or support.

  • that includes loss of revenue, loss of data, business interruption, security incidents, or failed rollouts
  • that also includes outages, deletions, or misconfiguration of customer or third-party systems such as firewalls
  • any direct aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid for the relevant paid service in the 12 months before the claim

Acceptable use and suspension

The public site and portal must not be used to abuse the service or other customers.

  • no credential attacks, scraping abuse, or portal interference
  • no malicious uploads through support attachments or forms
  • abusive, compromised, or policy-violating accounts may be suspended

Mandatory carve-out

Nothing in these public terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Customer-specific contracts can add detail, but should not be assumed to remove these baseline allocations unless they do so explicitly in writing.
